Hello friends.

I feel kind of uncomfortable doing this but I thought it was worth a shot. My life long dream has been to swim with Great Whites. It's a dream I never thought I would be able to experience. 
I came across a contest online a few months ago offering a cage diving trip in South Africa, a chance to go out on a conservation boat with marine biologists, and a three night stay in a five star resort. I literally thought "wow, this contest was made for me!" I never in a million years thought  I would win, especially with the large amount of entries in the contest. 

On Friday, October 5, I woke up to multiple text messages from my friends saying "You won! You won!" and I literally thought I was dreaming. I seriously have never been so happy in my life. I started crying and my boyfriend and I lit sparklers outside. I don't think I've ever been so happy. 

So here's the downside, I recently found out airfare is not included in the trip. The total cost I would need in order to be able to go is about $3800 which is absolutely insane. Some of my friends suggested I put up an online donation site and ask if you guys would mind donating a dollar to help me get to live my dreams. It would mean the absolute world to me. 

If this works, it would literally be a life changing experience and my dreams coming true, but, if I don't reach the goal price and I end up not being able to go on the trip, the money would not be sent in vain. Those who know me know that I have constantly been struggling with my health over a number of years. I have two very serious conditions and a ridiculous amount of medical bills. If I don't reach my goal, the money would go to my medical expenses. A friend of mine had a donation site set up for me that I had her take down because it kind of made me uncomfortable asking for money but even the smallest amount is helpful.
